Franceska has been working in the welfare, health and academic field for over 40 years as a social work clinician, educationalist, planner, administrator, advocate, researcher, trainer, psychotherapist and hypnotherapist. Franceska was Director of Social Work and Welfare Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs and Princess Alexandra Hospitals.

Franceska has conducted research into the needs of people with mental illness and dementia, their family caregivers and professional service providers.  Franceska was the creator and Director of the Golda Institute, an independent ‘Think Tank’ on aged care, mental health and disability.
